This cinch buckle will accommodate a 1” ~ “cinch” belt

A cinch belt is a belt that is finished on both ends and threaded through each side of the buckle. Once threaded, the belt is pulled until it fits your waist.

This buckle is vintage new old stock probably from the 1980s and was typically worn with an elastic belt.
